Fine vintage old master style drawing, with its powerful diagonal motion and the figure’s well-muscled, classical physique. Note the fingers, too. Vouet’s figures usually have these long, tapering, elegant fingers, which make their gestures all the more graceful.

Dimensions: 26.8 x 40.8 cm x 10.6" x 16" approx. Pencil and charcoal, heightened with white chalk on cream paper with format, with no watermark. Mat and frame not included. We send drawings at cost. Presumed to be 20th century student study or copy.
